Cedar Rock Farm

We are a small family run farm.  Our children are actively involved with our horses, and keeping this foremost in mind we strive to breed horses that are sane, sound, and a general pleasure to be around.

Because each of us has interest in different events we are breeding horses to be all around performers.  We are not interested in horses that can only perform one function - we enjoy many different events and riding styles with our horses - our partners.

Being APHA breeders, color is important to us.  But it has to come after the disposition, the conformation, and the mind - these are the qualities of utmost importance to us.

Mares in our broodmare band generally ride and are used as such.  They may be shown - they may only be trail ridden - but they are all handled and treated as using horses.  Stallions that we choose to breed to are studied for the qualities that we feel are important - disposition and trainability being the most important.

Due to these factors our foals are sensible and easy to be around.  They train easily and are real people lovers.  Its a joy to visit our pastures!  Please take a few minutes and browse through our online farm.
